How we pick, how we're paid, how to fix a listing

How we pick

You answer seven questions. A set of plain rules scores every gym in your area on those answers and on what we found: the real price, when classes run, how the coaching works, how clean it is, who the room is full of. The top score is the recommendation. Nothing else affects the order. No gym can buy a higher place, and no gym is left out for not paying.

Where the information comes from

Three sources, in this order of weight: our own visits and memberships (a former studio manager who has trained at these gyms), the gym's own published pages and booking systems (prices and timetables, checked on the date shown on each page), and public reviews, which we read but do not republish. Opinions are labelled as ours. Every gym page carries the date it was last checked. Our founder managed F45 Crows Nest until September 2026, and that gym's page says so.

How we're paid

JJAI is free for you. When you press "Get me in the door", we pass your details to the one gym you chose, and only that gym. Some gyms pay JJAI a fixed introduction fee when you turn up for a visit. During our launch the introductions are free to every gym. Whether a gym pays has no effect on whether it is listed, how it is described, or where it ranks. We will name the paying gyms on this page as soon as there are any.

What we never do

Sell your details. Send them to a gym you did not choose. Take a fee to move a gym up the list. Hide a bad review because a gym asked.

Fix a listing

If you run a gym and a price, time or fact is wrong, email hello@jjai.com.au with the correction and a link. We fix facts within a week and date the change. Opinions stay ours, but we will always publish your side next to them.
