Our take

Web research only so far. Checked 26 Sep 2026.

Who it's for

Good fit: Someone who wants to train alone, on their own program, at any hour, without being talked to, and who wants a sauna and steam room and a big range of walk in classes for 34.50 to 44.50 a week depending on lock in. Nobody sells classes or PT on the floor, and reviewers call it friendly and not pretentious, with people there to do their workout rather than show off. Early mornings and late evenings look like the quietest times from the class timetable, though one reviewer says the weights area has no quiet period. Wheelchair friendly with good accessible facilities.

Not for: Anyone who needs the room to be spotless. Dust, mould, dirty change rooms and smell come up in 13 reviews from 2021 to 2026, every 2026 review that mentions cleaning is negative, the newest review calling it clean is from early 2024, and several machines have been out of order for months in 2026. Also not for anyone who wants a calm weights floor: reviewers describe the strength area as busy with no low peak time and crowded with high school students after 2:30pm on weekdays. Not for anyone who might leave a 12 or 18 month term early. Beginners who want coaching should look at a coached studio instead.

What it is

Open gym floor, train yourself any hour, plus 110 group classes a week: 57 walk in floor classes (Les Mills strength and cycle, yoga, hot yoga, mat Pilates, circuit) and 53 booked Reform Pilates sessions in a reformer studio (Platinum Plus tier only)

Coaching: Hands off. Nobody coaches you on the floor and nobody makes you join a class; onboarding is a card and a safety induction (one new member complained she was simply handed a card and sent on her way, which suits someone who wants to be left alone). Staff occasionally help around the floor. Group classes are Les Mills scripted or instructor led yoga and Pilates; the reformer classes are screen guided with an instructor on the floor (brand Reform Pilates page), and two ClassPass reviews call them video driven. Front desk staff are praised as friendly even in angry reviews, management blamed for slow repairs in about 10.

Gear: Free weights, plate loaded machines, Olympic lifting area, pin loaded machines, cardio theatre (about 10 treadmills), cycle studio, functional Freestyle area, stretching area, sauna, steam room, monsoon shower, relaxation zone

Extras: Active Adults (Thu 10am), Reform Essentials beginner reformer, hot yoga and hot Pilates, yin yoga, Les Mills Shapes, Evolt body scans, on site physio and massage, AIPT personal training campus
