Who it's for
Good fit: A woman, often 45 plus, who wants a short, low impact 30 minute strength and cardio session with a coach setting everything up, in a small women only room, on weekday mornings before 12:30pm or Saturday 8 to 11am, and who enjoys friendly chat and a regulars community. Beginners, women returning after illness or joint surgery, and older women working on balance. About $32 a week on a 12 month plan
Not for: Anyone who wants to train alone and be left alone (the whole room moves round one circle in sync, the coach talks to you every session and regulars chat and socialise), afternoon, evening or Sunday trainers (closes 12:30pm weekdays, Sat 8 to 11am only), men, anyone after heavy free weights or a big open floor, anyone who will not sign 12 months (casual $35 a visit adds up fast), people who need showers or a wheelchair accessible entrance (Google lists no wheelchair accessible entrance and no showers are listed anywhere)
Scores are our opinion after visiting, 1 to 5. Social vibe 1 is quiet and solo, 5 is loud and social.

What it is
Women only. 30 minute coached circuit: Curves hydraulic strength machines alternating with recovery or cardio stations, change station every 30 seconds on the coach's cue, stretch at the end. Specialty 30 minute sessions on the same floor: Boxing, Cardio, Balance, Body Basics, Traditional and Strength Training circuits, with three intensity options. First visit is a one on one orientation on the machines. Staffed morning hours only, no key access, no free weight floor
Coaching: Hands on, warm and social. The coach runs the circuit, calls every station change, checks your position on each machine, offers three intensity levels and adapts for injuries. Monthly one on one coaching check-ins, a tracker reviewed with your coach and opt in calls or texts are part of the membership. Reviews: greeted by name, birthday songs, lots of laughs and chat, very patient with beginners and older members; nobody calls it hands off
Gear: Curves hydraulic resistance machines (no weights to set, resistance rises with effort) in a circle with recovery boards or mats between. Bright room with big front windows (listing photo). Change room and toilet listed. Brand mentions body composition scanners and heart rate tracking at participating clubs (not confirmed here)
Extras: Women only. Boxing, Cardio, Balance, Body Basics, Traditional and Strength Training circuits; Tai Chi, step and dance in older reviews.
