Not for: Anyone who wants to train alone or unbothered (no open floor, doors open only for classes, coaches talk to everyone by design), after work trainers (last class 4:45pm, doors shut 5:45pm), lunchtime or Sunday trainers, anyone who wants 24/7 access or a quiet room, budget under $60 a week, people who dislike being tagged and nicknamed on Instagram or pushed toward a challenge

Scores are our opinion after visiting, 1 to 5. Social vibe 1 is quiet and solo, 5 is loud and social.

Contract

Cancelling

2 weeks written notice (terms page). 7 day cooling off refund is 50% at most ('may be applicable'). $25 fee for a no show, a cancel inside 60 min of class, or arriving more than 5 min late

What it is

45 min coached group classes, one program per day: strength Mon, Tue, Thu (Thunder, Onyx, ABT, Atomic), cardio Wed (Oxygen), hybrid Fri and Sat (Mercury, Carbon), advanced only Alphas and Roxfit (Hyrox). One coach runs the room, no screens driving the workout as far as the web shows. No open gym floor, doors open only for classes and you wait outside until the coach opens up

Coaching: Hands on and social. One coach runs a small room, demos, walks around and checks on everyone by name with a chat. Owner led, motivational, challenge and fat loss results driven, cheering each other on is part of the class design

Gear: Google photos show an assault bike, dumbbells and a weights floor in a black walled industrial unit. Reviews: 'more equipment than most gyms', 'everything you need from strength and conditioning'. Boxing gear implied by the boxing classes. Infrared sauna and ice baths on site. No treadmills or cable machines seen

Extras: 8 Week Challenge twice a year ($65 a week plus $299 entry, InBody scans, nutrition and mindset coaching), 5 Week Challenge ($349), Hyrox Training Camp, Saturday run club and recovery, infrared sauna, ice baths, seminars, social events (trivia, paddle boarding, go karts, rock climbing, mud run).
